However, moving to or from one of these residencies pose its own unique challenges. Although weâre experienced with these challenges, there are a few you may want to consider before your move date. Schedule Your Move Date Ahead
Unlike most private residences, your move date will likely have to be approved by building management prior to your move-in/out date. Contact your office for details for your specific building.
Reserve An Elevator
High-rise buildings will typically have a separate freight elevator for moving in/out and will not allow usage of the general elevator. Make sure you reserve the freight elevator for your move.
Verify Truck Parking
Verify where the moving truck will need to park during the move ahead of time. If your building uses docks, you may need to also reserve a dock as well.
